Mod request: Deathwalk
I have been reading in the forums that some people find Deathwalk cheating and that it is "reward".
I want to make a mod that makes Deathwalk a punishment but still be essentaly the same. Problems I can`t program a calculator. So I just list my ideas and hope that someone might give a ****. Idea one: Pooling. Effect: extra effort required to complete Deathwalk. The idea is that, that when you die and go into the Deathwalk land, you have to fight the spirits. Not just to walk till your body goes back but to acsully make your body go back in the first place. When you die you see your body floating in the midair slowy descending towards the ground. The idea is that, that while you have zero spirit energy it doesn`t. It just floats there and won`t go either up or down. In order for it to go down and eventully resurrect, you have to keep your spirit energy level about 70% till the time comes. And the only way to do that is to keep shooting the spirits till you have enough energy and still keep shooting them to prevent them from stealing energy from you. |

Re: Mod request: Deathwalk
pretty good idea. i liked the idea if spirit walk in the game, just not they way they implemented it.
i had thought about a similar mod before. i would of made it so that you could not go into spirit walk if you had no spirit energy(ie. you would be dead, game over) And if you where in spirit walk and the spirits attack you, you lose spirit energy(does that already happen?) and game over when you lose it all. |

Re: Mod request: Deathwalk
Here is another idea:
Perhaps for Cherokee or Normal difficulty, your body can go UP. If it goes too much towards the bright light, then its game over. This makes Deathwalk a real "second chance" rather then just an less annoying version of quicksaving. |
