try looking at dukesterx.net

I tried it its nice, but dialup is so damn laaaaagy...

Now it says im "blocked" from the server, probably my damn firewall again...ZoneAlarm is evil! Just kidding.

Also make sure you are using

1.duke nukem 1.5 may 31st jonof port

2.dont have any user.con files in your duke directory

3.a connection with that is faster than dialup\satalite

lol, dude, dial up does not work on the port online.

This port is supposed to be for LAN quality connections

Damn,I have have Atomic edition.
Dialup is dialsuck.

You would think that 500kbs Starband satalite would suffice...but nooooooo...its average is near same as dialup when I tried it.

I still wish I could play..

When I get T3 you will be seeing an RPG flying straight for your face, I am so good with a LAN...

The server is still up for anybody who wants to play

Note that to get a game started it might take a few luanches/patience to get it working

Good Idea! I can never find a good server when I want to play. Any out-of-sync issues yet?

LOL, we played 4 players on a humongous Map,with hundreds of explosions and on CO-OP i would have to say...no, lol

Although there has been some lag, some very short command responce, and some audio stuttering, other than that is badass

you should get it. It's dirt cheap. I saw it for $2 once, and I almost cried. I payed $20 for mine. I payed the same for Blood. They were both worth it.

the local futureshop was selling duke 3d (original) for $10

it's still in the big boxes with all those old praise quotes and RSAC rating

it's really tough finding old games, even at EB

edit: found a Rancidmeat server but if you're behind a router like I am, can't join. No Duke3D for me.

im behind a xp fierwall, 2 switches, a nat, a router and a proxy, still havent had any problems joining a server (using jfduke).

I just noticed a flaw in my settings of DukesterX, no wonder those networkgames didn't work. :/

Edit;
Changed it and I'm host a server at the moment. Look for "IggyBash" server and try to join.

Yeah, that was my problem as well so I indicated to use my external one and that I am behind a firewall and router. The program tried to look up my external one and coulnd't find it so I inserted it manually. I host a server at the moment ("IggyBash"-server) but I don't know if it works now.
