Anyone know the meaning of this mild secret?

At the end of Duke-Burger in DN3D, there's a security camera. When you use it, you see this seemingly totally inaccessible area:

I don't recall ever seeing an area in a security camera that you simply couldn't access, but this seems to be one of them. If you noclip over to it, there are three "doors" that act as elevators, but not ones you can walk into. There's nothing under the door of the "Store Your Crap" building either.

I just find it an interesting oddity, made even more odd by the fact that Google brought up nothing when I searched for it.

That would be a preview of shop n' bag before the building gets destroyed when you start the level.

Always loved that camera. One of the only ones that showed a different level, and we would always get calls asking how to access that area.

Yeah, but for doing that, they deserve all those calls. They should have intentionally obscured the image and the maze in game code. That way, people would actually had to find the message.
