This "1 more year" bullcrap is nothing new.

Everyone at the company was talking about how they were so close on their personal pages after the layoffs. There is considerable evidence that they would have shipped in early-mid 2010 if this disaster caused by Take-Two had not happened.

Obviously 3DR will have to take the blame for not getting it done. I feel the lawsuit is justified. This is a game that could take Take2 out of the gutters as well. Try hanging a carrot in front of a Mule's face and see how long it takes before it snaps!

And the lawsuit is closed, just like the whole WID/Area 51 idea. I'm sure that will fire back somehow as well! I am sure there's plenty of internal discord that did not somehow manage to leak into the media. I'm definitely in the "not going to happen" category.

Currently, I am more excited about the new DX:HR than DNF. Even though, I'm sure they will find a way to bungle it too even though they say it'll be much more like #1 than #2.

I used to want DNF to be released b/c I was a Duke fanatic, and couldn't wait to play the next installment -- the true successor to Duke3D.

Now, I just want it to be released so pointless threads like this one go away
