Hard Boiled
I finished fugutive, and now doing hard boiled to unlock dead on arrival, but it seems not to save my progress, it just keeps careing me back to the american dream all over again the next time I play no matter if says it saveing to card. Weird Does anyone understand?

Apparently the Dead On Arrival difficulty allows you to save 7 times a chapter but I don't know why the hard-boiled wouldn't do it.

"Hard Boiled" is the second difficulty level of Max Payne, unlocked after playing "Fugitive" all the way through.

Back when MP came out, the forums crashed and didn't come back online for several weeks, so a lot of posts from that era aren't here. Also, many of us played the PC version, while the use of "saving to card" implies this thread is about one of the console ports.

Amen to that brother. You got to be tougher than tough to play harder ones. Personally I don't find Hard Boiled all that hard until I get to the Aesir Building.
