You know at the end after the credits when that woman appeared again and invites you into the portal? Did anyone else think it was a little fishy that she survived? I was looking at my screenshots from the game and I noticed that her model and the "Mother" are both wearing the same gauntlet thingies on there wrists and the same neck ornament thing. I started wondering if maybe she was actually the mother in disguise, like what she looked like before she entered the heart of the sphere, and the "powerful beings" who rescued her are the rest of the keeper race. Tommy just destroyed one of the aliens ships not their homeworld. Does anyone else think it may be possible those two are actually the same person, and there was something evil on the other side of that portal?

I always thought something was up with Elhuit (sp?), but I never noticed the gauntlet thing until now. Maybe she's a descendant of the people that got taken along with "Mother" and that's just the way they dressed? I don't know, but I hope we don't have to wait 10 years for a sequel

What I wanna know is how did the bar get back on earth? They took the bar up into the sphere. You had to fight bad guys in there. And now its back on earth at the end of the game...

You can see tools and stuff in the bar, it's a new bar that tommy rebuilt now that he wants to stay in the reservation.

Yea I just played the ending again and your right there were tools. Didn't see them the first time. Just thought it was odd that it looks identical to previous bar. But he's probably honoring Jen's memory and making it the way it was before all that happened.

Also: the mother said she took her 'position' in exchange to spare her people. Maybe the Hidden were the mother's people? Which would explain the similar gauntlets/bracelet things.

Yes I think the same.
Perhaps Elhuit is a priestess and Mother was too a priestess, so when the aliens came, she was one to fight her way to the sphere via her spiritual abilities. She replaced the previous Mother (or whatever was her/his/its name) but some of her people escaped and been hiding from Mother (the hidden) from wich another priestess eventully came forth (Elhuit).
And you know how religion sticks to clothing.

What bothers me, is Elhuit able to speak telepathicly like Mother? Becuse she spoke to the guard trough the door. Or merely used a speaker?

Tommy rebuilt the bar. If you look outside the windows, it's up against another building. The first bar didn't have windows. It's just modeled after Jen's bar as a memory to her.

I think the people on the other side wanted tommy to help fight off more of the aliens (or different aliens)

I noticed the tools the first time. Actually, I tried to pick them up as weapons. You never know if there are more aliens around the corner.

And if Elhui is the mother, then why does she wear a top?

Maybe they're sisters, they both escaped didn't they? Probably helped one and other untill the mother continued on into the ship and eventually became the master.

The Mother was definitely one of the Hidden at some time. If you look in the art bookletmanualthing, you can see her original design was fully Native American'd out.

The Mother is apparently thousand(s) of years old... so I would doubt that.

Perhaps only the clothing is identical? Ya`know, passed down clothing of the saman or priestess (or whatever) that was the predecessor or helper of Mother before she called her/him.
