How to play Wolf3D's debug mode in DosBox?
I was wondering, how to play the debug mode of Wolf3D (non-Steam) in DosBox. While playing, I entered the -goobers code, but it couldn't work! Did anyone knew how?

You should enter the -goobers code before playing. Like, at the command prompt, enter Wolf3d -goobers, instead of just Wolf3d.

Actually if you are using the registered version from the store, and you are launching it from the icon you have to edit a file in c:\wolf3d\ first.
Open up dosbox.conf with any text editor and at the end of the file (2nd to last line) you will see a line that is "wolf3d.exe" Change that to "wolf3d.exe -goobers" save the file and now it will be active when you click on the icon that was created when you installed the game. It will always be on, but will not be active unless you hit Left Shift - Alt - Backspace when you are in the game. |
