Max Teen/Adult/Old.. Opinions
Sorry for the double posting, but I needed to say something to you all.
What would be better, honestly: Max like a teen, Max like an adult or Max like a grand-pa? Give your answer with why, and a plot that could be invented for it! - I would vote Max like an adult. This way you can start MP3 in one year after the end of MP2, you can have a plot of Max working for the Inner Circle like Mona, and have flashbacks on what happened the year between MP2 and MP3. Vote. |

You can call the game whatever you want. However, the coherent nature of the game would be a bit misleading, if they place the timeline before either of the first two installments.

Re: Max Payne 3: The Weelchair!
Ivan, if you're actually serious thinking they're serious about the 60+ stuff, I pity you.
On lighter issues, perhaps this will be the next What About Moving? MP3 Chp. 1 Part 3: The Killer Had Never Left Thug 1:Yeah yeah, those people are crazy. eXtreme Wheelchair Racing? Gimme a break. I'm getting too old for this shit. Thug 2:Oh damn, that's as stupid as it gets. I mean, how would two guys havin tah be wheeled about by nurses race without nurses? What about moving? Thug 1:What about it? Thug 2:Well, idiot, if they can't move they can't race. I mean... (Buzzing noise) Thug 1:Ah, my pizza's done. EDIT: Oh, and having MP3 being pre-MP2 or pre-MP1 doesn't make sense. MP stories are all about Max in his own personal Hell. Having that happen on police missions or going home to his family after every level doesn't make sense. A right-after sequel to MP2 would be a bit more plausible, IMO. Ah, and you could not play as Max, but that would kinda not be true to the title, though. |

Re: Max Payne 3: The Weelchair!
Perhaps you could do a short GN on it once you finish Part 1 of Sadie? Heh, maybe they could do a secret level for when you beat the game on DOA that has all of that stuff. Max limping around and grumbling about how it hurts... and of course wheelchair thugs and Mona with a walker. And if you did the GN and Remedy did the level they would just have to put it in...

Re: Max Payne 3: The Weelchair!
sadly, I doubt Remedy has the time for it. It would be cool, yes.. but I'm just a little MP fan-girl with too much time on her hands! LOL
I was thinking about making a picture of Max in a wheelchair looking ready to race.. but then I'd just have to make him look old and stuff.. LOL

Mariamus, you can take the model from the Aged Heroes Mod which is available at Deep Six.
Here's a picture of an aged Max: Old Max Vinnie, old and prosperous

Yeah
Old Vlad Sn. had hidden my daily portion of pills while I was at nap time. Young Vinnie was my only hope to finding out where. I stole his walking stick and interigated him on the floor. Love hurts, but arthritus hurts more... |

Good job both of you. You two should work for the next MP3... really! Great job! I just hope Bravura will still be there... with a turbo weelchair! In the BulletTime 3.0 you will be able to have guns in your hand and on your weelchair. I can already see this in stores. Good job again!

Bruce Hamilton:
"The only thing that disappointed me about Max Payne 2 was changing Max from Sam Lake to whomever..." I agree, Bruce. Same Lake *is* Max Payne! Bring back Sam Lake in Max Payne III ! *no offense intended to the actor who filled in for Max Payne II, but we want the original back, there can be only one!*
