Max Teen/Adult/Old.. Opinions
Sorry for the double posting, but I needed to say something to you all.

What would be better, honestly: Max like a teen, Max like an adult or Max like a grand-pa? Give your answer with why, and a plot that could be invented for it!

- I would vote Max like an adult. This way you can start MP3 in one year after the end of MP2, you can have a plot of Max working for the Inner Circle like Mona, and have flashbacks on what happened the year between MP2 and MP3. Vote.

And do all this with the Harlem Globetrotters theme playing in the background?
Holy shit! and I thought Gothic Pig cop strippers were the best thing since sliced bread. If they decide to put in wheelchair bullet-time, I will buy MP3.

I see that I am the only one that thinks that this idea is...erm...bad. I mean.. just thinking about it its like...ROFL!!! Funny, but I don't see weeling myself everywhere and triple backfliping while killing Vlad.Jr.

Funny, but it doesn't really match with Max Payne.

Everyone has an opinion.

Come on! You have to admit that I am good while being sarcastic! I am so good at school about this, "doesn't seem that way from where I am stading!" ]

Come on, the weelchair thing would kill all the Max Payne effect in the game.. Is anyone with me?

Actually, if MP3 is set before MP2, then MP is both after MP1 and MP3. MP1 --> MP3 --> MP2. MP2 would be after MP3 and MP3 would be after MP1; therefore it would be after MP1 and MP3.

You mean MP2, I guess. Anyway, Just to say that Both MP and MP2 will influence MP3, but itself MP3 technicaly influences MP2.

Technically, it's just a name. Had they decided to have Max Payne 3 take place with Max as a young lad (before MP1), the fact remains that it would still be called Max Payne 3, unless they wanted to call it Max Payne 0.5 or something.

You can call the game whatever you want. However, the coherent nature of the game would be a bit misleading, if they place the timeline before either of the first two installments.

I mean MP3 placed between MP and MP2 wouldn't change anything in the storyline. Developers will have to base themself on MP and MP2 to do the third between thses two.

If a person buys the hole Max Payne [lets say that there is a pack with the three ones comming togheter] The little dude will think that MP influences MP3 and then MP3 influences MP2. It goes it both ways.

If this link worked... I was going to scream. I have to admit: there is a funny part doing 360s with a weelchair while in bullettime, and double front flips. I'll think again about it, and maybe change camp. From No to Yeah Baby! What would Bravura look like in 20 years? Will he be dead? NO SWEETY DON'T DIE!!!

Don't forget the secret stage where he can compete with Bravura, who is using a turbo wheelchair. Fast and Furious? Ha! eXtreme wheelchairs with bullet time are the masters of speed!

Ivan, if you're actually serious thinking they're serious about the 60+ stuff, I pity you.

On lighter issues, perhaps this will be the next What About Moving?

MP3 Chp. 1 Part 3: The Killer Had Never Left

Thug 1:Yeah yeah, those people are crazy. eXtreme Wheelchair Racing? Gimme a break. I'm getting too old for this shit.
Thug 2:Oh damn, that's as stupid as it gets. I mean, how would two guys havin tah be wheeled about by nurses race without nurses? What about moving?
Thug 1:What about it?
Thug 2:Well, idiot, if they can't move they can't race. I mean...
(Buzzing noise)
Thug 1:Ah, my pizza's done.

EDIT: Oh, and having MP3 being pre-MP2 or pre-MP1 doesn't make sense. MP stories are all about Max in his own personal Hell. Having that happen on police missions or going home to his family after every level doesn't make sense. A right-after sequel to MP2 would be a bit more plausible, IMO. Ah, and you could not play as Max, but that would kinda not be true to the title, though.

Yep, and the game would begin with this dialogue :

Max: They were all paralyzed. The final revv of my electric motor was an exclamation mark to everything that had led up to this point. I released my finger from the accelerator remote, and then it was all over. To make any sense of it, I need to go back 3 years...back to the night the neck pain started.

Perhaps you could do a short GN on it once you finish Part 1 of Sadie? Heh, maybe they could do a secret level for when you beat the game on DOA that has all of that stuff. Max limping around and grumbling about how it hurts... and of course wheelchair thugs and Mona with a walker. And if you did the GN and Remedy did the level they would just have to put it in...

I was thinking about making a picture of Max in a wheelchair looking ready to race.. but then I'd just have to make him look old and stuff.. LOL
