Pre-order extra figure

NICE! I'd pre-order it now, but I'm not sure any stores have it yet. The official site lists May 28th for Best Buy, where they will hand you a figure right away on your order. Thats probably the best place to do it for me anyway.

wtf , there is NO Collectors Edition for PC-CDROM ?!!!! All the collectors Edition there is for XBox 360 . And No PC-CDROM Collectors Edition with a figurine ! What's going on ? I want the PC-CDROM Collectors Edition Version , In a DVD with figurine . period.

Oh wait, is he complaining of no CD version? I thought maybe he thought the PC didn't get a collectors edition.

In which case I suggest you run out and buy a cheap DVD drive. Considering how inexpensive they are I don't understand why anyone wouldn't have one by now.

Tomorrow morning I'll be taking some good pictures of the three figures. We have them here at 3DR, but the pics with the 2K press release are kinda not that great. Look for better pictures of the figures tomorrow from us.

Judging by that list (and I do hope that is not the final list) we europeans are screwed for the collectors edition.

Because none of them have the collectors edition on preorder. For the PC that is.

Well now I don't know what I will do. It depends on what Charlie is sending me(not that I am demanding any thing) and a couple of other things, such as if it will be possible to resume downloads over Triton.

Judging by the link X-Vector posted Oberhausen is not very far from where I live, since I would happen to live near Nijmegen. If I can find a good day to drive then I might as well take a go for it, I have my own car and a navigationsystem.

I'm a little confused by this...
I want the Collectors edition, but i can't just preorder it from the internet when i want a DVD version, is that what it's saying..? So i have to go in some kind of special stores, which seems to be on some whole different country to preorder it from...

Or is it possible to actually just go in some random store, and buy the Collectors edition with all in it..?

Please someone explain this to me... I might just miss i this kind of info in that article, but all the talk about marketing and stuff easily makes me confused...
I just want the Collectors edition with DVD's, and with everything following with it...

Well, you could just call them up and ask if you can pre-order a game and say you would like to prey-order Prey Collectors Edition.

Ahh, that's good... I got the impression that there was a CD version of the collectors edition if it wasn't preordered correctly... I'm happy to know that's not the case... (i have never preordered a game before)

As the article says, when you pre-order the LCE, you get the Mutant, the other two come in the box. Also, make sure and look at our page, and read the details on how to pre-order from where.

The Triton thing was that I will probably buy it over that If downloads can be resumed. Since I have got a cap on how much I can download. However anything downloaded between 24:00 - 6:00 doesn't count towards that cap. So if I can resume downloads Prey doesn't have to count towards the cap.

Then surely I will get it that way too.

Dude, DVD drives are like $15 now. How can you have a computer capable of running a game like Prey and NOT have a DVD drive?

It really sucks that we have to resort to collector's editions to get our games on a single disc people people who spend $1500 for an over-priced rig from dell can't shell out $15 for DVD.

OK, I looked into this, and got told the details on what you get when you buy it on Triton have not been settled on, so forget what I said, the proper answer is "don't know yet".

I hope those details are different for Europe. It would be unfortunate if Europeans also get the CD version instead of a DVD. I haven't seen any interesting game on CD after Doom 3, which was two years ago. All the rest is on DVD, and I hope the European version of Prey won't differ in this.
