Prey wont install

any help will be good here

I brought Prey a few months back and it installed just fine on my old computer, I recently updated my computer to a 64-bit version of Windows Vista and now it wont install. does anyone know whats wrong? or if its a compatibility issue.

Not a compatibility issue. I installed Prey on my Vista64 Ultimate PC with no problems.

Just a question, did you try installing it in compatibility mode? I didn't have to, but it may be worth a shot for you.

Yes i tried it in compatibility mode but it came up with the same message
Error Data check (cyclic redundancy check). I Checked the disc and there are only very minor scatches.
