Okay, seems we need to update this list a tad... let me know if there's any I'm missing:
Commander Keen IV Wacky Wheels Rise of the Triad Duke Nukem 3D Quake Quake II Quake III Jazz Jackrabbit 2 Descent 3 Daikatana I didn't include some of the "unofficial" ones, such as being include as a text reference in a help file. I really don't think those count. The big ones are when they're in the game. Any others that are currently out but I missed? ------------------ Andre C. Yeah that list look pretty good for all the official games. There are a lot of unofficial games and add-ons with the Dopefish appearing in it, but I think the Dopefish appears the most in Daikatana (well besides Commander Keen) with a count of 4 that I know so far. Now I would keep an eye out on the upcoming Ion Storm's games. Like Tom Hall's Anachronox and Dues Ex (probably won't appear in Dues Ex, however it will appear in 2 of the 3 ion storm's game IF it appears in Anachronox). Of course I wouldn't count out any of the 3D Realms games, even though George Broussard. Some other companies to look out for are Epic, Ritual, ID Software, and of course others.
Commander Keen IV, Wacky Wheels, Raptor: Call of the Shadows, Rise of the Triad, Terminal Velocity, Duke Nukem 3D, Quake, Quake II, Quake III Arena, Jazz Jackrabbit 2, Descent 3, and Daikatana. |

You never know where a Dopefish may pop up. Keep your eyes peeled in every game.
Useless fact of the day: Did you know that a total of five different game companies has a Dopefish reference? ------------------ Andre C. Viens www.cygnusloop.com stingray.edgenetwk.com |

Off the top of my head, that would be..
Are Battlezone & Descent 3 the same company? If not, that makes 6. Battlezone & Descent 3 count, but barely. ------------------ |

But isn't the Battlezone add-on some kind of user creation? I don't even know about that game anyway, because I've never even heard about it until now.
And the folks that made Descent is Parallax. ------------------ Andre C. Viens www.cygnusloop.com stingray.edgenetwk.com |

Its like an official add-on pack, but I'm not sure if we want to count those. I think its cool, but there has been tons of add-ons with the Dopefish in it. I'm still playing that Team Fortress level call sky64 with the Dopefish in it. I guess that since its an official add-on, that we should count it, but if its not than we shouldn't.

BattleZone: Red Odyssey was a fan-made add-on I do believe. I think it should count since it looks kinda funny. :P
Team Fortress 1.5 was official. If the level was in that then it is kinda official then. So is there anyway to make a smiley into a Dopefish? -Magic |
