Modeling in UT 2k7...
I was wondering if anyone knew what 3D modeling programs epic will be supporting? I have looked all over and no one is clear on what formats epic will support. I wish to start modeling now so that when UT2K is out I have the models for my mod already. Does anyone know what modeler epic supports?
I have access to SoftImage XSI and Maya 7 |

Re: Modeling in UT 2k7...
i know that UT4K4 came with Maya 5 PLE, so I would have geussed Maya.
I dont think they used to support 3dsmax, that is nice of them. and soon after its release, someone will undoubtedly find a way to make a blender plug-in

Re: Modeling in UT 2k7...
Basically 3dsmax. All these days they've been using that in a major basis only.

Re: Modeling in UT 2k7...
I believe Epic uses 3ds max internally. Their posting for the environment artist requires the applicant to know 3ds max and has no mention of maya.
