Re: Grabbag Remix!
Didnt like the intro, or the bass sound, but the guitar is really good.
![]() Is it a real guitar, or something like Realstrat or Ministry of rock VST ??? a few little things: the drums arnt mixed so well. the hihats are just too low. the snare is real bright, and jumps out too much (EQed too many high bands?). i can only suggest bringing the crashes up, the snare down a bit, and the hihats up. the guitar could go a bit louder.

Re: Grabbag Remix!
Guitars are real done by my friend Dan (Eternalreich). Solo was by Jon (Metaljonus). I wrote and mixed the drums and synth and the final track itself.
It was posted hastily because the bass player bailed (causing a looooong ass delay) and I had to "synth" it. The song had been in production so long I didn't care how it sounded when it went up. In retrospect I could have EQ'ed better but by the time it went out I was on to the next thing and pissed with how long this took. I actually started this song because of a post that was going on in this forum over a year ago. I spent a lot of time on that intro because I wanted to do something to make it a little more original by adding my flavor to it but I guess I missed the mark. I didn't want to have any Duke quotes in it or sound files from the game but I was convinced later on and I think it worked out (the bubble gum and shotgun part). |
