Grenade death trick

Hey this worked in Max Payne 1 aswell, if you are seriously close to death and surrounded by guys just throw a grenade and then do a bullet time dive, it doesnt matter how close you are to the grenade because your health goes fully red but you dont die, NEVER! even if you do it repeatedly you can survive! its not a brilliant trick but its fun.

hey chill dude... i think ppl has been discussing this since MP1 so there's really no point to discuss it again... btw even my g/f can finish MP2, so MP2 is really very easy which u don't really need to take advantage of that trick... beside the grenade laucher was removed from the game thus making this trick kinda useless...

Oh cool, I didnt know that.
Although once I did stand right on top of the pile of chairs in the corner of that one room in the condemned buliding and blew it up, only to survive by bullet-dodging(!) I know THAT shouldn't have happened.
And thus ends my worthless post.

Does this feature get disabled in Hard-boiled? I noticed that I died a few times when I was dodging in BT.

Yeah, i thought you could die in MP2 while shootdodging.

the trick is still in MP2, just that the invincibility time frame was well shorten... everybody try this, make urself near death, now throw a nade and walk over it, and right before it explode, do a forward shootdodge... u'll notice the whole screen goes red but max will stay alive...

if u shoot dodge too early, (where the nade explode while u are at the ending part of the shoot dodge), max will suffer for additional damage and die...
