A little bit of fun
No trolling here, a fan love the game looking forward to forever, but this is amusing, probably as old as the hills, but I thought it was funny.
(its also as incomplete as it can be)

That list is hilarious. It's a quirky look into what has gone down since the game was announced.

I don't see how anyone can really be offended by this.

Was the announcement of DNF so important for the people that made the site?

Do they think they deserve something from 3DR because they announced some game some years ago?

This site is not fun, and it is useless. Mistakes are mistales, and now it is WID. You don't have to compare, that is not fair for a team that want a nice great fun game for gamers.

Nice list indeed i don't think that's an offense or something bad about this list. it's funny and interesting. it's actually only really interesting for the oldtimers inside here who have been waiting for dnf since the announcement
and hey,"Microsoft released 5 consumer-oriented versions of Windows and might release Vista before Duke Nukem Forever hits shelves."

... and no version of those are done

Well, i did not spent a huge amount of time doing a list, so i'm not taking it so seriously.

Yeah that's my favourite because it's not true

I'd suggest making sure your "facts" actually check out in the future, that is if you were the one who created the site that is.

Look on wikipedia and if you had done so you'd have noticed that "Bullet Time" was used way before the Matrix.

Do I see your name in the credits?

I loved it. Even if I were George, I would find that pretty damn funny!

True, the Manhattan Project took less time, and Americas involvment in WWII took less time, but WWII as a whole lasted a bit longer AFAIK.

Other than that, nice list. Love the Daikatana one.

The Voyager 1 spacecraft has travelled 8.8 billion miles from Earth.
While this is true (it's about 9.1 billion miles from earth right now), that's since it's launch in 1977. It only travelled about 3 billion miles since DNF's anouncement.

Btw, while all these facts are interesting, I don't think it's any "fun". The Mars rovers Joke was fun at first in 2004, but this list is just overdone. Everyone knows nine years is a long time, don't see why a list of things that has happened since then would be so funny..

DNF = 1998-present = 8 years and counting
WWII = 1939-1945 = 6 years

But sept. 3th 1939 (England's declaration of war) - sept. 2nd 1945 (Japan's surrender) is almost exactly 6 years.
