Single player shadow warrior in xp

I posted recently about the multiplayer possibilites of Shadow warrior in windows xp. I havent got that to work, so i am wondering if anyone can get single player to work under xp? Help?

Dude im so far from a noob. I have played SW since it's release and somewhere down the line i shelved it. I was just curious about running it in xp that's all. Thanks anyway.

well im not saying you persay there just seem to be a hord of pepole on the board who want to play SW but dont have a clue about dos or anything anyway thats as much of a rant as im going to get into dont get me started on the "sorce code debate"

Moron, I don't think half the people here know how to use DOS anymore...DOS is dead...People run Linux or Windows now.

No, it didn't. It worked fine in Windows 9x too. Good thing, too. I usually play it in Dos 6.22, but when I want to do multiplayer over the network, it's a lot easier to do it in Windows than try to set up a DOS network.

Though of course for 2 player only, the old Serial cable works just fine in Dos.

ah yes the old Serial cable I remember it well I used to play starcraft with a buddy for days on end the 2 of us against hords of zerg

Wish I could say the same. I'm getting screen garbling errors that make the game unplayable, and require the system to be rebooted blind afterwards. The sound starts out normally, but quickly gets choppy and out of sequence.

Of course I still have several Dos/Win 9x machines to play it on.
