Yes, however Geoffery should get a lot of the credit for transforming it from my initial vision into the condensed awesome it is now

It'll be released in two flavors, a PSP version and one for JFDuke3d. More details to follow!

Sadly you'd need to hack your PSP for it to work. I have a psp slim and its almost impossible to homebrew it.

I hope you aren't going to pull the old "made for console, ported for PC" crap.
Other than that it looks pretty interesting. I may be tired of zombies showing up in a game when there is no real reason for them to show up besides the fact that everyone loves zombies, but that doesn't mean a game built around zombies is bad. I will have to try this out.

Re: Zombie Crisis
Thanks for all the comments

We're both doing what we can to make sure this won't be a teaser thread that dies in one week, only to be updated three months later with news on how we've made some minor modifications to the storyline. Just about everything's ready to be released, we just need to finish the maps and create some extra gameplay elements to make it slightly more interesting. In the meanwhile I'll be sure to post some shots every now and then

Naah, it's pretty easy - the only thing you need is a friend with a hacked PSP or some soldering tools :3 I hacked my slim a week after I bought it.

Well, I can't wait! It looks so awesome!

BTW. will there be a lock-on feature? PSP FPS games without it are @ss-hard when the action gets fast-paced.

'Cause it IS easy :P I went to a friend and got it hacked in half an hours and it was that long only because first we had to discover why the needed tool didn't work under Vista (it was designed for XP) and then come up with a bright idea to use his laptop that has windows XP on it. After that it was 10 minutes max, including upgrading from 3.60 m33 firmware to 3.71 m33, together with the time needed to download it.

Even if you don't have another psp, you can always hard-mod your battery into a pandora one. There are even instructions how to add a tiny switch that will let you switch it from normal to pandora and back at will :3

Not yet, but they're definately on the to-do list. These are the kind of things that are pushing the release date back: everything has to be made from scratch so they'll fit the theme. Last week it was switches and doors, now it's zombies that can break down walls. Zombie spawners and boss battles and such are probably up next

No it doesn't.

Code:
state standard_jibs
  guts JIBS2 1
  guts JIBS3 2
  guts JIBS4 3
  guts JIBS5 2
  guts JIBS6 3
  ifrnd 12
  {
    guts JIBS1 1
    spawn BLOODPOOL
  } // a badly drawn spine

  state jib_sounds
ends
JIBS2 is the eyeball. As you can see, only one spawns per monster jibbed, and eyeballs do not come out of monsters that aren't dead. So, that's only one eyeball per monster.
