The Dopefish's Burping Sound

Many times before I've heard the dopefish's burping sound requested, but no one could figure out how to do it. However, with some crafty tricks and tools, I have successfully gotten it recorded to .wav file.

My steps:

Opened up DOSBox & Keen 4
Turned off music
A+2+Enter, then F10+W, then 17, then F10+G…
CTRL+F6, the very handy sound dumping feature of DOSBox
Played through the Well of Wishes, came to a Dopefish, let it burp a few times…
Opened the dumped .wav in GoldWave and cut out the one instance of the sound without any other sounds
Uploaded it here

or set our sound card up to use its full duplex capabilities and just use windows sound recorder to record it :P then a wave editor to edit it etc.

Need to be redone. Too much sound static around the sound effect itself.

Why not make a burp yourself, and record it..! does it really have to be so original

Or is it more about achieving something to make it as original as possible..?

I think the point here is to capture the original sound.

It was just a random thought that was easy to pull off and I had all of the resources I needed to.

It had no particular purpose was intended before the fact.
