I know it's old, but most holds true. Also- the links on Matt's sight don't work, and for some reason.... people can't find it on RTCM. Don't ask me why...

The EDuke FAQs are still up at RTCM - and that is a bloody old copy.

I can only find the "What is it?" section on RTCM without using search.
