Not exactly the same, because your video games have a volume and even an off button.

I guess the decline of middle aged gamers is because they played since they were young and just played too many. I have become tired of the same stuff again and again. It's like watching reruns or the same movie again and again. We want to see something new, not live in the past.

I'm surprised at D_A being 24 and Gatinater being 25, they both came across as being older to me for some reason. Plenty of actual older dudes in here though.

Not trying to question your general arenting skills, but most First Person Shooters are hardly appropriate for a 5 year old!

You seem to underestimate or have forgotten how much of an impact something like that can have on a kid.

I thing the mid 20's is the perfect age for gamers. Cause we were all @ 5-9 years old when Nintendo came out and gaming stuck with us. Now the games are better and harder.... LOVE IT!!!!!

we mainly play hide and seek in death match mode. the hand eye cordination will be far supier in this coming generation then ever before. doctors and fly by wire pilots will grow from the console gameing pad, like we are seeing. but your are right about having a young child playing shoot em ups over and over can and prolly does desensities violent behavior. this is taken into consideration and your concern is noted.

Don't worry.. girlfriends are overrated. Though without a woman one cannot pass on ones seed. Five visits a week to the jerk clinic will ensure that. You may never see the bastard but there's a plus there.. you will never be bothered with having to raise the kid.

I no longer have a woman and never had a woman that wanted a serious relationship with me. Largely because I'm not rich and I'm picky. I don't have money but I chase after the top shelf women and I treat the others like dogs. I'm an *******, I guess. Plus I think I sexed myself all out.

Once you must put up with a four hour sessions of complaining which you can't fix because she just doesn't want to shut the **** up and won't go away.. you won't say.

"I have no girlfriend " you wil say "I have no girlfriend.
