Sprite help
Dunno I it should be posted here or not.But, I need a way to extract the sprites from the darkwar.wad in rott. Anyone an idea how I would do that?

Game File Exporer is the best Util for extracting the ROTT sprites and textures, I just wish that they would have full WAD support.. Someone should make a tool for it so making ROTT mods (which should be getting very popular soon) will be alot easier.

Hello (I'm new here, but still a very big ROTT fan)
XWE reads most of the files in DARKWAR.WAD, ecept the Masked Wall files and any other file that has Tranparency (Not clear, but you know like the glass windows that are dimmer). Does anyone reading this know of somthing that will read the format or what the format is. Also, what is the format of the images in the wad anyways |
