Cheap cultural references like using l33tspe4k without any reason is something they can use in vague genre movies but please not in DNF!

l33tspeak is not a spoken language anyway.

A translator that translates everything to "I will not buy this record, it is scratched!" (Monty Python) or to French (Futurama) would be more fun but still cheap.

This joke would only work if Duke undestood the alien language! How would that be possible? Does he have a bablefish or some translation device? But why would the aliens use a translator if Duke understands them anyway?

This isnt germans we're talking about. We're talking about Aliens within a universe where they generally have already shown to speak english.

Seriously I dont even get why this is a big debate. The badguys have spoken in several of Dukes games, including Duke3D, Zero Hour and Duke Advanced. So its obvious that the Alien leaders can speak english.

Why is it so hard to understand that maybe they ARENT speaking english and simply have a telepathic field that translates their language into English so they can taunt Duke or something?

Well I don't mind if the aliens speak English. Would make things easier. Maybe they talk with multiple sound frequencies like in their alien language and English at the same time xD.
