I picked up a PS3 pretty cheap a few years ago and got the HD collection and MGS4

I didn't finish it.
I doubt if I even put an hour into it.

I know there were some N64 games that had their issues, but you're not going to convince me that there is any game made in the last twenty years with a worse camera and control scheme than Too Human. I consider it unplayable.

Been playing Zombi, A bit baffling porting a WiiU game to PC considering the game was designed around the touch pad but ok...

Game isn't too bad, a few decent mechanics like you die and a new survivor takes your place and you have to go and retrieve you gear from the now zombified ex-survivor.

But this is an all to typical Ubisoft affair meaning there is a potentially game killing bugs from a really shitty port.

It's not too bad but if you want to play it i suggest waiting for it to reach the bargain bin or play it on the WiiU, whatever is cheapest.

Flight Simulator X





Picked up a new addon today which enhances landclass for Canada and Alaska, which defines what kinds of textures you see (aside from water and roads) and accurately places them where they're supposed to be. Blends in nicely with the others. Continental US version is coming later this year.

Ghost Recon: Summit Strike (XBOX)

A nice little hidden gem for the original Xbox.
Gameplay is that of the early Clancy games (R6, RS). A slow, deliberate crawl across enemy infested terrain, with just enough firepower to enable victory (provided you don't charge forward like a madman). There are also multiple gameplay modes, like Helicopter Hunt and Lone Wolf, which provide extended entertainment after you've finished the main campaign (or before).
The visuals are among the best on the console, although they're not flashy or stylized. Just solid, real world design.

I'd give it a high score even if I paid original retail. But since i picked it up for three bucks, it gets a perfect score.

Max Payne 3 on Xbox 360. It's the second time I do a complete run of the game. Hard with free aim, not a console gamer so it became quite challenging at later stages.

It is the best shooter I will ever play. But man! does this games sucks up your soul. It's so depressing. I really feel down and sick right now.

Dungeons & Dragons Heroes (Xbox)

An OG Xbox exclusive title.
I was hoping for another Dark Alliance style game.
Well, it's sort of the same thing. Same engine, same style of game. But there's not much RP in the G. It's pretty much a pure hack and slash game. I played it solo. It's probably a bit better in co-op. It's just a bit too bland. I didn't get it as cheap as I'd like. Definitely not worth more than five bucks.

Batman: Arkham Knight

Finished it, for the second time. Only this time I 100% it. Got the true ending... and really, playing it through with the latest update... this game is ******* amazing. The attention to detail, the small little moments.
And the overall story and pacing of the game is brilliant.

Still, the lack of "real" boss fights is a letdown, specially after the fantastic boss encounters in Arkham Origins.
And the forced Batmobile/Tank boss fights is just... meh.

It's hard to really "rank" the games. As each entry in the series is ******* fantastic. But... personally...

And really, Origins beats out Knight simply because it has MUCH better boss fights, and Knight's over reliance on the Batmobile for even small things (Riddler Trophies and such).
But, again, each game is so ******* solid and great... saying one is better then the other is such a trivial matter.

You have set encounters with monsters instead of the random encounters you had with the alien in Alien: Isolation. From what i have played it's not that scary. The tenseness is there because you don't know whats coming but it does limit the replayability a little bit.

Sudeki is the "unflavored oatmeal" of RPGs.

There's nothing really wrong with it. There's nothing great about it. If you just need a game to play, it will do.

Duck Dynasty. Based on the tv show. You lure ducks, squirrels and beavers. Then you kill them with a shotgun or rifle, just like a real redneck would. It's that rare kind of game where everything about it is so terribly bad, it actually gets good.

Played this after seeing James Rolfe play it on his AVGN YT channel. It's a decent game. Very simple gameplay. Very short.
It's sort of a clone of Rolling Thunder. But Rolling Thunder is extraordinarily difficult and unfair. Not fun at all. Play CN:V instead.

Replaying it after my upgrade... and damn.
Running the game at a constant 60fps really makes an amazing difference. But, also makes the game feel a LOT easier.

Just started Chapter 5 and have not died once.

I installed this the other day and was having all sorts of compatibility issues. Couldn't get mouse movement to work to look around.

Is there some sort of patch or fix available?

The game requires STEAM, so when it's installed it should install any updates needed right away.
There have been three major patches for the game, and a couple compatibility updates for the DLC released later on.

The game gets it's official re-release on STEAM this coming Wednesday.
But, you can also find cheap keys on various websites.

Still love it. Though, it's a MUCH better experience now. With my recent PC upgrade and the latest patches... playing it fullscreen at a constant 60fps... so awesome.

Bought it through Steam. I'll double check to make sure the most recent patch was installed.
