Apogee (Steam) Throwback Pack Launcher doesn't launch games

Any help here?

I was blown away by how busy our forums are for these games. Steam is nearly devoid of activity, and Apogee Software is a total ghost town.

here is the deal, as told by posts on Steam:

Same problem launcher makes a start up sound for all for games, nothing actually launches. Checked the paths are correct - did not edit, reinstalled. No launch.

Submitted a Steam ticket. The issue is common and there are 3 more posts on Steam (can anybody get the stupid Interceptor branded thing to work?). Does anybody care at Apogee?

Ok stupid question, have you tried to play around with the compatibility settings? or tried to run the .exe as an administrator? sometimes this works.

Tried compatibility mode and as administrator on the launcher, then on the game files.

I run Win7 (64)

Nothing happens at all when you hit "PLAY", regardless. I'm certain one of the machines around here will run it. But it kinda defeats the reason I added it to Steam. I already have most of it in DOS form, and I have some with the GOG wrapper as well.
