Duke Nukem 3D for Zeebo?
Maybe you know this, maybe you don't, but Duke Nukem 3D is apparently available for the video game console Zeebo.
At least as a downloadble title via the ZeeboNet Wireless Network. The console is targeted at developing markets such as Brazil, Mexico, Russia, India and China, and has support from various video game companies including Activision, Capcom, id Software, Namco, THQ and more. A few embedded titles are included at purchase, examples are Need for Speed Carbon and Quake. But you can also, as mentioned, download additional titles from the ZeeboNet Wireless Network. And among those titles, Duke Nukem 3D is featured. I've searched the news archives of http://www.3drealms.com/ and also the list of Zeebo games at Wikipedia, but nada about Duke Nukem 3D for this platform, which makes me a bit interested. Also to note is that Prey Evil is available, and that as an embedded title. But nothing about that either, not on 3D Realms' webpage or MachineWorks' webpage (it says "by 3D Realms/Machineworks"; there is a listing of the game on Wikipedia but there is nothing if you click the link. I'm eager to know more about this version of Duke Nukem 3D, but I didn't find any media on YouTube. Perhaps someone here on the forums owns a Zeebo console and can provide some material. The console is launched in Brazil and Mexico.

Ah yes, I've heard of that. The Zeebo was only released in Brazil though, and possibly Mexico.

Is this legal?
George? EDIT: I PM'd George about this. Let's see what/if he replies.

Re: Duke Nukem 3D for Zeebo?
I looked into this as well... I could dig a little more I suppose but I'm not certain that that youtube video is actually of the game on zeebo. I read a few articles stating that Duke 3D uses some new engine made for zeebo that Quake or Quake 2 also uses.
