I doubt prey will come out in it's original conceved form. Parts of it may however. Level archetecture and models may appear in DNF, and the codebase may be the starting point for 3dr's new tech.

They prolly can't. I know basically dick about how stuff is made, but I've worked on mods - and you really cant "give what you have done" with a lot of polishing.

Besides, what could YOU do with it?

No.

Anyways, why would 3DR post pone Prey for Max Payne? Max Payne isn't being worked on in house. It's not even being made in this country (America).

Re: Prey after DNF?
there will be a game released after DNF, and it may even be called Prey (although expect something on the lines of Duke Nukem something).
It will not be the same game that was in development in 97.

Mnah, I doubt it, they are most likely going to make another Duke, prolly based on the Movie or something.

ah, most likely true. Whatever they were working on then will probably have changed so drastically that you won't even be able to recongnize it(I think that's why the old info on it was taken off the site, since it was so outdated).

The new Duke movie is going to be based on either DN3D or DNF, if I'm not mistaken. But watch them go and change Prey to Duke 5.

Please stop making up stuff like this - this is where bad news rumours start.

Re: Prey after DNF?
I think 3D Realms have planes with Prey, because there are three nearly finished versions of Prey(one with an Engine of Ken Silverman, one with an Engine of William Scarboro and one with an Engine of Corrine Yu) all that games have an differentley Story and Levels, I hope all that versions will come out, perhaps as download.

Re: Prey after DNF?
After Duke Forever? Perhaps 3D Realms is hire a new team for Prey (Romero,Hall,Maddin...)?
But I think the DNF team is going to make DN5,
but it could be possible they finish Prey at first. I read that Corrine Yu should to programm an Enginge for Duke5, first they wanted to use the Prey Engine. (Source: german gamemagazins).
I donīt know what Corrine Yu is doing now, but it looks like they want to do Duke5.
