7.1 Support into EDuke32?
I posted this into the old EDuke32 thread and no one really said anything and it seems we can't request for new features in the EDuke32 thread anymore so i'm starting a new thread to ask this question. I was wondering, TerminX (or anyone else who is capable of coding it) if it would be possible to get 7.1 surround or at least 5.1 sorround sound into EDuke32 and if someone will actually code it in there.

Not without an entirely new sound system which would change the general sound of the game and piss people off.

In that regard, how would a new sound system be any different than polymost? As long as it's optional I don't see why purists would freak out over it.
