He was in talks to be Duke in the "Alien ship on a collision course with Earth" storyline that was being thrown around back in 1999-2002. Duke Nukem could have been The Rock's first major leading role in a film had Dimension and Kasanoff not screwed around with the property for years and years.

Thats why I think a CGI movie would be better. I know it sounds dumb, but a Duke movie without dukes voice or his voice dubed over would be even weirder than CGI.

Honestly I would rather have another Duke game or two after DNF than a movie.
