Need some help with ROTT3D Editor
I'm getting into ROTT map making, but I've got some problems. I'm using Birger's RoTT 3D Editor, mostly because the others don't work on a 64-bit Windows OS without some trickery.

1. How do you make it so that switches and touchpads make pushwalls move? I've tried copying the ones in the official levels by using the "info" ability, but it does nothing.

2. What needs to be done to make push walls move as long as I want them to? I've tried setting markers to show where I want it to end, but they do nothing.

Yeah, since there's no manual, it's hard to know.

I'm planning to make my own level editor, but I'm still unsure in what language I'm gonna do it. In the meantime, you can use old Windows editors under a Virtual machine. It works great. I personally have a virtual machine with Win98SE on it and the editors work very well. After I bring the changes, I share the folder containing the levels and copy/paste them on my own machine.

I've been doing some experimenting, and I think I've got everything figured out. The only problem I'm still having is with getting switches (not touchplates) to make things move. I can shut off fireball cannons with them, but pushwalls? Nah.

Birgers' editor is a bit experimental, I'd go with a older editor, even if you
have to run it in virtual mode...

Just curious, in which language he made the editor and what are the GUI libraries he used to build it up? I'm thinking of making one using either C++ along with Qt, C# along with WPF or Java along with Swing/AWT, but I don't know what would be the best.

I have tried to get the source code to the editor, but for some reason
(I'm assuming licensing issues), I can't get the sources, maybe
something will change down the road and I'll be able to get them at some point.
