Prey stops loading.

I just purchased Prey through STEAM and when it goes to load the game, it starts the progress bar then just goes back to the main menu. It makes a weird humming noise out of my speakers while attempting to load. I'm thinking it's something to do with my onboard soundcard. I have an Audigy Platinum 2 I can throw in there to test if this is the problem. Just wondering if anyone else out there has had a similar problem.

ATI X800 Pro with ATI silencer(not overclocked)
2gb Corsair
74gb Raptor
2x400gb Seagates
2x160gb Seagates
ULTRA 500w psu
Samsung 226bw monitor

Awkwardly mine did this as well when I converted my copy of Prey to steam. It caused me not to replay it untill I tried again a month or so ago and it worked.

So other then try again I've got nothing today. I'll see what I can come up with though.
