Windowed game

Hi guys I have a problem,

I cant get the game to load up without it going into windowed mode. I cant remember when it went into windowed mode, I think it was after I changed the rez to 1280x1024. I have tried looking at the properites of the shortcut but there is nothing there that suggests that this is where the problem lies. Any ideas how to solve this?

I have the same problem!
To be precise even worse, it starts up in windowed mode, shows the start screen with "Prey" + faces of the protagonists and windows says, that the programm doesn't react.

But I do know exactly since when this behaviour came up. I clicked on the Prey homepage button at the very end of the demo. My firefox started and Prey got into windowed mode. Now it always starts without reacting.

Go in the preyconfig.cfg file and change seta r_fullscreen "1" to make it start in full screen.

Perfect, it worked. Also on a side note since it isnt in windowed mode anymore my G15 keyboard recognises it now

Edit - I remember where/why it went into windowed mode, it was when I clicked on the audio drivers updat and it opened a web page and windowed prey.

Thanks, your hint helped me out, I can go and play again! Yeah!!
But I hope this strange window mode behaviour will not make it into the final release
