Duke Themes/Gamerpics?

I dont know if Im the only one thinking about this but I wonder if there will be any themes or gamerpics for Duke 3D. Why not go whole hog eh? (Or whole "pigcop"

Would 3D Realms take care of those or is that all Microsoft?

this might probably be all irrelevant in a couple of months or so when the dashboard updat comes, but still, Id like to have Duke kicking ass on my 360 no matter what game I play.

I remember them saying they were making some themes and gamerpics.

I also remember them saying there's a gamerpic for getting all achievements.

Don't quote me on that though.

They should make some really good pics cause the 360 dosent really have any gamerpics that can kick your ass

It's been asked several times, yes. There will be a theme and a couple of gamerpic packs. When they will be available and any cost associated with them is unknown. I do not know anything beyond they exist and are planned to be released. When and how much, I have no idea.

Only pics ever worth buying were the tf2 ones and fallout 3, oh and gta4 but beyond that there is pretty much no reason to download gamerpics in general, some duke ones will be worth it though, bought a point card tonite for the game and pics.

This autumn/fall we'll get the "New Xbox Experience", which is among other things a complete overhaul of the GUI.
DN3D will be out before that it seems, so if the theme is too...
Will it be for the old version, or the new one?
I did read that old themes would still work in the new version.
I also saw some theme screenshots, but nothing official on whether or not those were old themes.
If so, I think the thing will just paint different GUI elements with the old textures, but is that actually true?

If you've been reading about the new experience, you would have seen that all the old gamerpics and themes will still work there.

what about getting a set of Duke garb for our Xii's, 36tii's, X-selfs or whatever the hell they'll call them?

Like I said, I did read about it and knew the old themes would still work, but I was just curious how they would be implemented exactly.
I found some official announcements since then, including this one, showing old backgrounds still used as such.
New themes also support subtly animated graphics for the different channels.
It would be cool if in the future 3D Realms would also sell a 2.0 Duke Nukem 3D theme to make things look cool.

Also I'm with pjohnsonjr in wanting to see some Duke Nukem, or other Apogee/3DR franchise-themed stuff for our Avatars.

the theme is ACTUALLY on the front page and so is the Gamer pics, Thank you!

Theme will be bought, gonna replace the Sparta (DZN) theme I've been using.
