I think I'm going to take the day off just to Dukematch all day, although I have to wait for a release date. I just can't wait to muck around in the levels with you guys

I have a question:
Can we voice chat while dukematching in a ranked or normal game? Or is it like Halo 3 where you can only voice chat in the lobby, not the actual DM game (lone wolf)?

Most likely the only achievements I won't get will be the ones for DM. All the others I can get in a single sitting if I really try.

I've played Duke so much I know the levels almost as well as I know BLOOD's levels.

I've been doing not much else other than speed run the entire game for the last few months. I don't claim to have the final answer, but I doubt it can be done in an hour, or much around there. I got it down to about 2.5 hours the last time I did it from Hollywood to the Queen.

But thinking about it now I can't do it under an hour

Although, The Birth has always been a bit of a problem for me when it came to speed running. I do use the switch trick short cut for the queen level

You can chat during the match. Taunt away, or talk to your buddies "I have the blue key", or "At the Battlelord - will wait for backup".

I'm going to play around with that time thing though. Just a thought with that... does the sound play backwards when you rewind? If so it must sound bloody funny when Duke talks

Last time I was online DM wise with any game was the PREY demo. And before that was the beta for FEAR.

Agreed. Let me add this about my speed run comment. That came after a few months of playing over and over again. I didn't just get to that first time out. Took some time and played it first, (re-)learned the levels, and then started the speed run stuff.

I have the headset, but I'm sure if I'll do voice chat. Hell I have a microphone for my PC... but I've never used in STEAM.

I'm not too worried about lag. Most 360 games I play with people over in the states are almost lag free. I don't have the same luck with PC games, however

Thats not necessarily true. I've played with friends plenty of times and that game is just laggy. Just about everything else we play together runs good, but doom ran kinda crappy at times.

How many players can be hosted online? Please say more than 4? Doom irritated me with the only 4 people. And I also hope the lag isn't a huge factor. Doom's lag was terrible. DAMNIT XBOX GIVE ME A RELEASE DATE lol

I also can't wait to have a chance to frag the guys that have created my only gaming addiction that I've played since I was 7

Yeah I first played DN3D on a 486. I could start a game, go get a drink and be back in time to play.
