Way to go, Piano Man! Finally someone who is good at transcribing pieces! Most other transcripts are way to simplified, and just... plain wrong

But yours was great, and I'm looking forward to playing the Max Payne theme using your transcript

No probs, glad you like it. I was kind of pleased with it, and I sent a copy of it to Poets of the Fall but I never got a reply. I also asked 3DRealms to transribe the music to the ORIGINAL Duke Nukem theme written by Lee Jackson I think, but I never got a reply saying it was ok to do so, so I never did.

Pity.

Just wanted to thank you for this,my only reason for signing up here was to grab the theme sheet music... sounds good on first run through, just one error.... its "transcribed by piano man", not transcripted!

seriously though, i could have worked this out by ear, but i'm a busy person, mostly playing other peoples music! you saved me the time, and for that im grateful. does anyone here know if it's possible to buy the complete soundtrack for either max payne game?

Piano Man, as I said in the other topic concerning the Late Goodbye sheet, you've done a huge favour to us.

I used to have piano lessons for five years, nowadays I just play it for fun. This is definitely a song I'm going to want to learn.

Piano Man, thank you very much for doing this. I have not found piano tablature on Max Payne anywhere else. I did sign up on these forums just for that as I REALLY like that game and song. However, when I saw tablature I thought of the guitar type of tablature where there isn't any music notes. I guess this couldn't work for the piano, oh well. I guess I just gotta learn to read notes again (and then forget).

The trills and the cross playing still give me trouble. Small hands.

Erm... there are no trills in the music. You don't mean the arpeggiated chords in the last few lines on page 2???

And yeah - the crosshands were a little uneasy, but I needed both the main theme and the accomp theme to play together. Start it slow and thing smoothly about where each hand has to go.

Yes, the arpeggiated chords is what I meant. My piano vocab never was very sharp. An amazing job, Piano Man. I didn't think the theme could be composed so perfectly.

I'm starting to get to the arpeggiated chords myself, too. I can't wait to be able to play it smoothly.
Presumambly the hardest part is when the main theme and the accomp theme need to be played simultaneously, might take some practice.

But so far so good, thanks again. I can't stop thanking, hah. So long I was in need of this.
