Hmm. I sent a mail to 3D Realms a while ago, and haven't gotten a reply yet. I can think of two reasons:

1) I forogot to send it.
2) They didn't know the answer.

Anyway, Joe, I was wondering if you happened to know either of the following:

1) What is Keith Schuler's email address?
2) Where is Commander Keen's helmet hidden in paganitzu?

I think it's wierd that a lot of Duke 3D fans don't even know that Duke 1 and 2 exist. Personally, I think Duke Nukem 1 and 2 are much more playable than 3D.

That sounds funny. However, they're still busy on Duke Nukem Forever. As usual, I'm ancipating that game.

Oh, and I do know that Duke Nukem 1 & 2 exist. Just like how I like ROTT, I REALLY like those games, too.

I prefer side-scrollers to FPS's as well. Not just Keen in particular (it's great, but I only discovered it earlier this year) but all similar games. I buy games like the Star Wars TPM game and Worms Armageddon. Maybe I'd like a FPS if I really gave one a chance. I don't know. Still, I accept that.

I would even be happy if ID gave up the rights and there wasn't an official Keen game, that way somebody with a lotta time on there hands could ask Hall and Romero to quick write up a story and the person could develope the game around the story board.

Personally, I wouldn't bug id, since I'm assuming that all they want to work on is Q3.

But I'd say that Keen isn't actually dead, considering that he's died countless times in many games. Plus with the fact that he really should be like 16 years old or so now. :-)
