The "plus" versions were ones put out by the original author on her own some time after we published the orginals. We do not sell the "plus" versions.

As I recall, they have more levels or something along those lines, but the gameplay itself is the same.

It's similar to the relation between Wolfenstein 3-D and Spear of Destiny. Math Rescue is divided into different episodes, like Wolf3D, and Math Rescue Plus is just one big episode with different levels, like SoD. But the gameplay itself is the same.

Not quite. Wolf & Spear were marketed as different games entirely. Math/Word plus are just the SAME GAME with addtl levels on top of the existing stuff.

Spear was like an expansion pack but was also a brand new game. It had many new stuff etc. but those plus'es only have extra levels that's all.

My point here is that Spear was a totally separate game. Yes, it could be viewed as an exp pack, but it was viewed by Apogee & id as a "sequel" (or retail version of the shareware game, more specifically). It was the same relationship that Keen 6 had to the other Keens. Was a retail version of the game.

The math/word things are just more levels tacked on INSIDE THE SAME GAME. Definitely *NOT* the same thing as Wolf/Spear. If you bought math/word plus after playing the original, you'd be basically buying the same game again, as like 80% or so of the content in the "plus" games is the same game that's been out for 16+ years now.
