Flash Slideshow for new website
I need to have a small flash slideshow run automatically at the top of a new website I am making. While I own a copy of Adobe Creative Suite, which includes Flash, I have to think there is someone out there who has posted an easy to use applet I can just drop in my page.
The question I have is, has anyone used a particular applet they were really happy with? |

Re: Flash Slideshow for new website
what kind of slideshow? if its just cycling through a list of images, it can be done in JavaScript, there is no need for Flash.

It will just be a series of outside the house shots for a construction firm. What javascript would you suggest?
Thx for the reply. |

Re: Flash Slideshow for new website
Its simple to write one, here is it. Of course if you need some transition effects, it might become a little harder. If you need it heavy on transitions, etc, it might be better to use Flash though, but the most common transition effect i've seen is crossfade which can be done in JS.

Re: Flash Slideshow for new website
That was very very helpful thanks. Can a simple fade in/out effect be done in JS? I've noticed most of the fades are flash. I don't need a complicated fade, just something simple.
