Max Payne Annoyances/Bugs
Remedy should have given us the ability to shoot while jumping. Did they do it for realism? I didn't know it wasn't possible to shoot in mid air. If this is the case, then why do they let us shoot while doing a dive in slow motion?

There seems to be another bug in the game.. the "diving without bullet time" button doesn't work. It does the same thing as the bullet time combo. I would've liked to do the dives he does in slowmo when I was out of bullet time.

Even with the new patch, there's an annoying bug where if you click the "Return to Game" icon on the storyboard screen it will send you to your desktop. It didn't do this with my friend's Voodoo3-based computer, but it did it with my TNT2 Ultra and ATI Radeon 64 MB. All latest drivers. I finally found a workaround for this (pressing ESC).. but it was very annoying for a while.

I think there's yet another bug in the storyboard menu - if I press "Play" while a storyboard sequence is playing, it will stop the sequence, and if I press it again it moves back a chapter. But pressing the "Next chapter" button doesn't go back to the chapter I was playing. If I load an earlier chapter, there doesn't seem to be a way to get back to the chapter I was on. So I have to replay it.

I like the game. I didn't at first. There were times I remember saying "This game is so boring" out loud in frusturation (couldn't figure out some of the levels.. like the snow level where you have to shoot the wheel stop)... but it grew on me after a while. I really like it now, just to clarify.

I think I did expect a little more from the game, but I am satisfied. I got the game for $15. Took the Circuit City ad to Best Buy and they did a price match because I was the first person. The Circuit City ad was a misprint, however, and they've put out a disclaimer for all other stores. So if they call in your price match request, you likely will not get the price match.

Can't wait to play DNF. I think it'll appeal to me way more than Max Payne does, even though Max is one of my all-time favorite games. Just wish it had some kind of multiplayer... like cooperative.

Oh cmon Joe, that wasn't a tech post. It had one thing to do with tech, and I don't need help with it because I can just press ESC. I have a lot of stuff in there I'd like people to read about my thoughts on the game, and the post won't get read in here. Move it back.... or else I will hax0r the forum again! Muhaha..
