Just bought a pretty odd Duke game

I just bought a strange Duke game.. I'd read about it ages ago but I'd never actually seen it until now. I have no idea if it's rare, probably not at all.. I've just never seen one before as it wasn't sold here and it's not the kind of game I usually buy.

I hope it's in decent condition, it's not new and I haven't received it yet.. I'll just have to wait and see

It's not on anything, you can't play other games than Duke on that.. it's made for that game, it's not a cart or anything like that, it's on that thing. Never seen those old Game & Watch games? It's sort of the same thing.

Yes I think so. Tiger released a lot of games in that "format".. Sonic, Double Dragon, Batman Forever etc, etc.. I doubt they would use Duke Nukem without permission.

It was sold in stores. So yeah, I guess it is official. The Tiger.com thing is pseudo-rare.

i have one of those but its for road rash...

Its NOT the game.com version trust me

it might be a cheap sidescroller but i dont know... road rash was a fun game on one of those but lacks real grafix, its just a simple line drawn lcd screen

Note: there should be a trigger on the back of it right?

I know it's not the game.com version.. I have that one too, that's just a cartridge.

I just looked on the 3DR site for this and this was a "grip game".. it's not the game.com version (well I had that one already so I knew it wasn't that one).

It even says - "Availability: Discontinued - If you know where to find it, please let us know." so I guess it's kinda rare then

Its rather unimpressive to be perfeclty honest. I can only vaguely remember playing it in the car a few times. Its really nothing more then a glorified version of your standard Tiger Game "Console". I also had a twisted metal one I believe.
