Anyhoo - Yes it should have secrets, but there shouldn't be a bigass arcade-y notification "A SECRET PLACE!" anymore. It adds to the exploring feel, I guess.

sure does duke need secret places "SECRET PLACE" spoken with alien voice. yeha i know many people say, this is the new generation of gameplay and not realistic but i give a f**k about it cause that was fun in older games especially duke ! searching for secret places, nowadays there aren't many games with this and that is why you play them once and dunno why to return. i still play duke 3d cause it is still fun, secret places, great voice acting AND thousands of player levels !!!!!!1

Well, a secret place (or several) in a level is only usefull if you are notified that you missed them at the end of the level (or game). Or on a seperate stats screen.

Well if there has to be a notification than it should be like in the good old Duke3d but it would be cool if you unlock something if you found all in one level (like artwork, musik pieces, dukes lines or something like that). but if you think about it the secrets themselves are quite satisfying themselves

at least in 3drealms games.

and then the game is released piece by piece as episodes and you have to pay for every episode you want to play
