Gameplay Video #1 on Gamespot

Well, it will be in an hour or so (I hear).

It's 3 minutes of gameplay footage from a section of the game. We will release the HD (1280x720) version of the trailer very very soon.

Hope you guys like this. It gives some hints as to why we think Prey is kind of unique in how it plays.

I hope it shows off some good use of the portals or gravity and stuff...

The High res version (HD 1280x720), wil that be on the #DR website (streaming and Download) or will it be on some other website..?

Gamespot has an exclusive I think for the weekend - not 100% of the timeframe. When that's up we'll do what we did with the Super Trailer. Have it on our site and bunch of others.

Everytime I click to watch it or download it I just go around in a circle. I've always had trouble with gamespot.

I had that problem so I just closed restarted Firefox. God those PSP commercials are terrible.

Cool video though. I love the way the game is using portals to play with size.

Nope, restarting Firefox doesn't help one bit. I have also tried Mozilla and IE, nothing works. I hope the download won't be corrupted when it is finished.

BTW, I highly recommend it for everyone to view the high res version when it's released. It really feels like you're playing the game, and the quality is better than the Bink videos Valve used to release for HL2 prior to its release.

Guys, FYI, this is very early in the game. That's why we only showed the one rifle weapon. The next trailer will show other aspects of Prey's gameplay. You will not see much or any story reveal in these coming trailers...on purpose, of course.

Just remember, the stuff later in the game will fry your mind like a sizzling megawatt microwave beam using your head as target practise. ;-)

Man, that gameplay video was......bizzare. Bizzare as in Twilight Zone Bizzare!
The game feels like it will be Quake 4 meets the Twilight Zone, with some new stuff to boot. I LIKE IT! Great video, thanks 3D Realms!

Kinda figured it was early in the game due to Tommy's reaction to walking on the wall.

Kudos on this trailer guys! This is the kind of stuff I was talking about last week - the sort of media that will sway the "looks like Quake to me" crowd to put their stereotypes aside.

If this stuff is just the warmup, I just can't wait to see what crazy stuff comes later! (coming from the same minds that gave us Loki's maze)

I like the look of the gameplay and settings, but the voice acting was kinda meh...it didn't convey any emotion.
