Just for fun I took the existing statue texture 0375 and made a quick attempt at wrapping it on the model. I'll make a better attempt later this week when I have more time. If it turns out OK I will make it available to everyone.

The gun looks good so far.
If I can't make the statue skin look good enough, I also tweaked your original skin a little. We can go with whichever one looks the best. |

I tried again to wrap the existing 375 texture on the model. ( pic 1 )It does not look good enough in a lot of areas. Its too much of a patch work. It doesn't all fit together.
I then took your skin and blurred it and applied a different texture to it. ( pic 2 ) It looks better in the modeling program because of it's built in lighting. But in the game ( pic 3 ) I don't know if it's any better than your's. Maybe we can just use your model as it is. Let me know what you think. |

I put the statue into Eduke32 with it's Polymer lighting. Your statue with my skin looks great.

I am working on a texture that can give a better rendering

I have assumed leadership of the SWHRP since ProAsm has relinquished control. I have a lot of work to do to add a number of submissions posted at JonoF's forums and here, but it is already in a partially updated state from the summer '09 release of v2.1. I myself have made some general fixes, improvements, and cleanup in the past several days.

Here's a model for the lamp 671 The skin is ugly and the mapping is far from optimized, but hopefully somebody else can do something with it.
