Should Houdini Apprentice have .FBX Export Support?
This was weird to discover, but I just downloaded Houdini Apprentice HD for that $100 fee, hoping that I could use this for static meshes for UDK and Unity3D down the road. However, much to my demise, I just found out that the .FBX was import-only, you couldn't export anything to .FBX even if you tried...and there was no way I was gonna cough up that $6,995 for the full Houdini Master package. Anyone have any workarounds for the Apprentice version to make static meshes a reality? This was something that just caught my attention.
