The mighty Tripod

I've recently discovered that there still seem to be people out there who remember the 3DR Tripod thread.

Since the thread got lost many-a-years ago I've uploaded all the Tripod pictures I gathered from back then to a one-click filehoster.

I hope this brings back some fond memories for some senior members.

Nice bit of nostalgia. Happy to see one of mine in there too.

I remember making another one with the tripod too, it was an animation, but I can't seem to find it anymore.

The tripod thread was great. No idea if its still around as it was a massive thread. I know the Prey demo thread is still around, but the images are not.

If it was still here when Interceptor reopened 3D Realms late last year, then it's in the archives. Everything that was then current was moved to the archives (except the Post Thread - ha).

I did regularly purge the Gen msgs area to keep db size down, so it's entirely possible it isn't here. Did you search?

If I recall it correctly the whole thread was killed -along with a number of other threads- when there was a major hick-up with the Forums many, many years ago, long before Interceptor came through the door. I think you wrote back then that there was no backup that could repair the damage. Or am I completely off-track with that?

Me and Grudgey Dearest also archived a lot of stuff as well, except The Post Thread.

I will see if i can dig up some pics. I saw a few threads that could use some.
