Manhatten Project, double jump problem
heya guys, I've got a problem double jumping on the pc edition, my pc far passes the specifications for this game and I have played it before, now the game will not let me double jump, I have tried using the controller, using the keyboard, putting the game in Win 98 compatibility and it does not solve this, thinking about this morning one thing I didn't try was to unplug the controller.
any insight into this would be appreciated. Win XP 64(SP2), 4 gig ram, intel Q9550, NV285 GTX, EVGA 780i, keyboard, mouse, and controller(xbox 3rd party) are all connected via USB. |

Re: Manhatten Project, double jump problem
Double jumping on this game is time specific. Are you sure you are double jumping at the peak height of your first jump? Just quickly double tapping jump doesn't work.

Re: Manhatten Project, double jump problem
oh yeah, I'm sure, as I loaded the game on my laptop with Win xp 32, and the double jump worked, also I recently purchased it on XBLA..
As I said I have played this before, but not on the current PC with XP 64. |

Re: Manhatten Project, double jump problem
I believe double jumping is 100% necessary. Would be a game killer without it. that's for sure.
I'm running it on Win 7/64bit, and it double jumps beautifully with the controller or keyboard. |

Re: Manhatten Project, double jump problem
I'm begining to believe this is a Win XP64 problem, as XP 32 worked fine, last thing I'll try is a complete re-install. if it doesn't work oh well.

Re: Manhatten Project, double jump problem
A few of my games don't like Win 7 in 64 bit. They worked in Win 7 32 bit. I'm gonna do a dual boot setup that will probably revert back to XP32 as an alternate.

Re: Manhatten Project, double jump problem
re-install same issue, Different controller, Patch 1.01 or not, the issue was there from step 1(Fresh install) I'm thinking this is either a Win XP64 problem or a driver problem.
At least I got it for the X360. Thanks for helping guys. I did a search for the problem, and Wine needs open gl to have the V-Sync enabled, How would you go about doing this on the Windows based machine?
