Re: Max Payne the movie - Rated R
Michael Biehn would be really good as Max Payne, I'm not sure if he'd be too old though. It would work if he was the same age as in Aliens.

Re: Max Payne the movie - Rated R
Hi everyone.. Just had to join the fun.
Scenario #1: The Woo Style Drector: John Woo (We know he can do slow motion scenes) Actor: Chow Yun-Fat (Ok, ok.. He's not American, but he can do dual beretta action) Scenario #2: The Wacky One Director: Robert Rodriguez (All the gun blazing in Desperado, gotta love it.) Actor: Quentin Tarantino (Not much to say. Just picture it. Ahh.. ) And don't flame me for suggesting this.. |

Re: Max Payne the movie - Rated R
What about Michael T. Weiss, from The Pretender?
Max Payne isn't a body building action hero type, he's a regular guy pushed over the edge. ![]() |

Re: Max Payne the movie - Rated R
If you all have seen the show on the Sci-Fi Channel "The Invisible Man", you would recoginze the guy who plays Darien Fawkes. The actor's name is Vincent Ventresca.
http://www.scifi.com/invisibleman/characters/index.html Take a look at the first character. That's Vincent Ventresca. He even sounds like Max Payne. I think he's a good candidate for Max Payne.

Re: Max Payne the movie - Rated R
I'm telling ya, Dean Winters from HBO's Oz series (he plays Ryan O'Reilly') already looks the part...and if you watch the series, you know he can be badass in both action and by simply speaking.
Take a look at this link: http://www.hbo.com/oz/insiderz_guide...y_profile.html |

Re: Max Payne the movie - Rated R
i think ventresca's too young to play max. and he doesn't sound like him and he's not weird looking enough in comic scenes.

http://www.wvah.com/programs/drew/diedrichbader.shtml
i'd have to go with diedrich bader, ie. oswald from the drew carey show...granted, up to this point, he's been nothin but a comedic actor, but they said the same about michael keaton in batman, and he's been the best one by far... i figure if you just wipe the grin of bader's face, you've got max's identical twin... |
