Those are some interesting skill names. Did you use the maze generator for some of those maps?

Christ, even the quick kick is purple. I couldn't expect anything else from Geoffrey on a day like this.

I guess the weapons were done by James? I must say that I've stopped after a bunch of levels when I noticed they were all just a bunch of blocks. But then again, it's the thought that counts.

Still, Quest for the Crown is better!

Edit: Ah, random maze generator. Oh well. Could have fooled me.

Geoffrey did Episode 1 and I did Episode 2. He also did almost all of the art work whereas I did the con work. A lot of effort into a gag mod, but I think it's actually kinda fun in some bizarre way

Yet when I asked James about "what's this secret project" and suggested it might be something "you and geoffrey are working on some silly thing which you'll release tomorrow"; he replied "no, not even close"...

Yeah I know you wouldn't want to ruin the surprise, but WHY THE LIES


Anyway a serious comment -- I think it was pretty fun to play through for a moment.. Of course, after a while it did start to bore me. If it wouldn't consist of maze-generator maps it could turn out pretty cool But I doubt you'd want to spend more time with it.

Sang, it's a mod in which you must save naked men in chains with erect penises, while everything is replaced with purple hearts and armor has been changed into a bottle of lube. Any more effort into this would really make it creepy.

It's not 50kb, it's about 2mbs. I don't know what you're talking about Anyways it IS a valid mod, we just didn't attach screens because that would ruin the whole mod's effect. You gotta try it first hand!

EDIT: Actually the health has been changed into Lube, armour has been changed to Hard Gay's vest.

it crashes when I use it in its own folder, it doesn't have quite the same effect when I play it with HRP and SD_Duke. . .not that I'm complaining. Based on the comments, I am not even sure I want to see what is in store for me.

hold on, hold on

Are you trying to play it with HRP and SD_Duke? It definitely won't work since SD_Duke contains it's own cons which will conflict with the ones in this mod, and we didn't intend for the HRP to be used with this mod since we use alot of sprite stuff. Unzip this mod into a directory with an atomic edition version of Duke AND the latest Eduke32, than run the bat file. That's it (But make sure there's no art files in the directory otherwise it'll mess it up)

I got it working, duke3d.grp the contents of the zip, eduke32.exe

Interesting is not quite the right word, but it is what I will use.

Hmmm the maps could've used some polishing , maybe shade things up a little bit and some trim work here and t here. The penis doesn't look erect enough IMO.

If you only knew how sick we were of it in the end; we'd been working on it all day and if you think playing those maze maps isn't fun then try testing them 20 times In the end it was well worth it though. We have created an art.

What version of Eduke is this meant to run under? I can't seem to get it to work with the included .con file, Eduke crashes everytime.

That's why I always include the latest snapshot of EDuke32 with my mods. Otherwise, it's inevitable that people will try to use the official build and it won't work.

Just out of curiousity; has anyone managed to beat james' episode (2)? I was supposed to betatest it but I couldn't do it and eventually cheated through the maps - but today I whipped up the courage and I finished E2L11. Seriously, if you ever needed a reason to dislike the man (apart from him using the word "armour" in the mod) then play E2L11.



But I did it. Told you I was hardcore I even got all the kills, too (I had to backtrack 80% of the map to find that one room I missed).
