Trouble with music.
Hello.
I've been trying to change the background music, by putting a .mid file with the same name as a existing one (let's say.. stalker.mid ) in the Duke Files folder. It works that easy with art files, but somehow it won't work with music. Any help? -Note, the music file is <72 KB so that can't be it.

Re: Trouble with music.
Odd. Try renaming it to something else, then go into User.con, look for "stalker.mid" (I think it's only mentioned once so you should be at the right line immediately) and change it to the name of your mid.

Re: Trouble with music.
I always use dethtoll.mid for my user map.

Re: Trouble with music.
This isn't just a preference, peeps; unless USER.CON has been modified or replaced, the name of a music for any user map (i.e., level loaded with -map) should be, indeed must be DETHTOLL.MID, because that's hardcoded in the default USER.CON file.
