Is the Ripper Chaingun officially called the Ripper in Duke 3d's manual?
Just wondering since I don't have the manual, and if it is, could someone who still has it take a picture of it being called so officially?

I heard it's called Chaingun Canon in Duke3D, but I don't have proof :P

Nevermind, I found the manual on 3dR's site, thanks.

edit: we posted at the same time, but it is in fact called Ripper in the D3D manual.

Yeah, there's the manual, and page 9 has the weapons.

But in the vanilla version* of DN3D it is called "Chaingun Cannon".

* - I don't remember if it has the same name in the Atomic Edition.

In every manual I can find, the weapon is called the "Ripper".
Within the game 1.3D and 1.5, the weapon pick text reads "Chaingun Cannon" though.

I have always called it the Ripper, but never thought the conflicting names before.

The name "Ripper" is the best name for it.

It just sounds bad ass.
