what programs can i use to make my own custom rott levels.

also can you make your own custom episodes most of the levels iv downloaded are only contain one map

I use ROTTed v1.1, you can download from 3DR site.

Go to "Rise of the Triad" section, and you can find it.

Regarding the second question, you can load every RTL/RTCs(which contains only one map) with editor, then save as them to other new RTL/RTC but different map slot.

With RottED, you can create your own levels and make your own episodes.

And yes, the levels work with WinRott as they're simply new RTL or RTC level sets.

for the lazy [like me], RANDROTT will "throw together" a bunch of levels also. I THEEEENK it will do episodes also, but I can't imagine that being very good. RANDROTT gives you some settings like amount of stuff, how mazey it is, how hard etc. Godd little command line proggy. We use it exclusively at our netgames to make sure no one knows the levels ahead of time.

Some time in the future, I'm considering setting up a site featuring recently made rtc files that are of superior quality to anything RANDROTT could ever set up.

Yeah RANDROTT is NOT great, but it IS random. That way no one has an advantage. This makes for really fair Capture the Triad games. I wish doom, duke, UT and such had random levels
